Tower Solutions to Phase Out PTM-100

When Tower Solutions first introduced the PTM-100 back in 2000, we believed our product had the potential to revolutionize the tower industry. “The PTM-100 put us on the map,” said David Kensinger, president and CEO of Tower Solutions.

The U.S. military was quick to see the advantages of a sturdy, portable tower that could be deployed in almost any environment. We are proud that the PTM-100 made such an impact. Additionally, we’re delighted by how long our towers remain functional after being put into service.

The engineers at Tower Solutions are always thinking of new, innovative ways to produce towers that meet high performance demands. We continue to advance as we develop and manufacture new models. With the introduction of the PTM-130 in 2017:

• We created a lighter, more compact design to facilitate easier transportation, most notably aboard the C130 Hercules aircraft. (The weight decreased by almost a ton.)
• We launched a new ruggedized control system based on automotive and mobile control technologies which is shock- and vibration-proof.
• The PTM 130’s working platform was enhanced with multiple safety improvements.

There are many working PTM-100s in circulation–a testament to the model’s exceptional quality. Tower Solutions commits to our customers that we will continue to offer parts and service on our PTM-100 systems for the next several years.
